The Shaskiya Shri Ahilya Kendriya Pustkalaya commonly known as Ahilya Library (the public library of Indore)is located in‘Safed Kothi’ which was constructed before 1900 A.D. The architecture of the building is a good example of late British architecture. The library was inaugurated in 1961. It is located on M.G. Road adjacent to High Court Building on approx 122664 Sq. M of Land. The Library is almost centrally located, very near to Regal Square, the heart of Indore.
